Error and if I run a query I get the same error. If I use a 'number' format, all the barcode that begin with Zero are shortened to begin with the first real number. Pat

P Pat Coleman Sep 24, 2005 #3 Excel Table is Linked in Access. The Access field is formatted as text - it gets that property from excel I think and I dont think I can change that. Bar Codes appear as #NUM!
