Cell Format Issue

K

My excel worksheet is Formatted to 'General', but when I try to type
in a number, it automatically moves the decimal 2 places (e.g. I type
"34" and excel reads "0.34" or I type "156" and excel read "1.56") The
problem still occurs when I format the cells to "Number - 0 Decimal"
or "Number 2 Decimal." If I type "36.0" then excel does read 36.0,
which thus far is my only way around this, but that is a lot of extra
numbers to type when doing large spreadsheets. I hope this is an easy
fix that I am somehow looking over, but if anyone has suggestions, I
would be more than happy to hear them. Thanks for the Help.
