Cell colors won't print on confirmation page.

The confirmation page that our members print after submitting their online
FrontPage form contains a table. In Frontpage, the table has background
color in the cells. However, when we print the confirmation page, the
background color for all the cells are white (default) like the rest of the
page. The rest of our tables in the other html pages on our website print in
color. How do I make the table on the confirmation print in color? It shows
up in color, just wont' print in color. We have tried printing on several
different color printers, both laser and inkjet, and the colors in the table
do not print.
PS (they printed last year!!)
HELP!!
Thanks!

It's a local browser setting as to whether background colors will print or
not. You have no way to control this from the web. If one prints, they all
will print.

You users have change their browser settings to print cell colors/background image, not something
you have control over from within your web page.

Hi,

Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - Printing - Show Background Colors

But of course you have no control over whether your users do it. As the
default is no fair to assume ~90% won't

Murray,
Very helpful!
A question and a suggestion:

Questin: Where and how do I change my local browser setting to print
background colors?
Suggestion: This is a LOT of work, but if you create and print a cell in a
word document, you can then scan it and import it as an image. The problem
is the colors distort.

In IE: Internet Properties > Advanced > scroll down to "Printing"
You can check the other browsers (FireFox, etc.) to see where it is.

You should create a background image in a true image editor (or search for
one on the internet...many free ones) and insert it as a background image in
the cell and let it tile.

Thank you! Now, how do I find a "true image editor" Would I use those as
key words? Does Microsoft have a true image editor? I have Adobe Photoshop
Elements 5.0. Would this work? Do I start with the FrontPage cell, or the
image editor software? Sorry, I know this is elemental to you and I
appreciate your help.
