CDR Burning

I recently got new computer setup. Successfully added a
new session onto CDR previously started on old computer.
(Sony burner). Now, when trying to start new CDR on new
computer cannot get it to "take." It apparently isn't
finalizing properly. I've read & re-read & re-tried,
following instructions exactly (as nearly as I can tell).

I even tried once again to burn new session on older CDR,
and it still worked just like it's supposed to.

What the heck am I missing when trying to start a new CD?

I have a Gateway with Windows XP & am using Roxio Easy CD
Creator--new upgrade version. I'm saving pictures, BTW.

Use new media. Adding additional files to a CD-R
that was previously burned on a different machine
will more than likely result in corruption.

BTW.

.
Thanks so much for getting back to me promptly,
but...Just the opposite is true! I can't get it to burn
on NEW media, but it DID burn OK on the used ones.
That's what's confusing me. I've ruined 5 new CD-R's
trying to figure out what I might have done wrong.

It may appear to be that way...but the opposite is not
true. If you continue to add new files to CD-Rs that were
originally burned on a different machine you will have
some disks that will be corrupted.

If you are having a problem with your new media, try
a better/different brand. Or possibly a slower buring
speed.

There is a good newsgroup on usenet called:

If you cannot access it on your server, try google groups:
