cdo attachment corrupted

I am using smtp.west.cox.net as the SMTP server and my snp, pdf and zip files
cannot be read by the receiver. The file name and size is the same but some
of the null felds are changed to spaces.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and more omportantly, how do i
correct it.

Using CO 1.21

The cdo MUST have something in the .body and all attachments work without
corruption
