CD Writing Software

Snip

Does anyone know of a working version of Adaptec Eazy CD
Creator that works with XP? I was using Version 4 with
Windows 98 but it was not compatible with XP. I loaded
Version 5.2 which says it is compatible but I am
constantly having problems. Most of the CDs that I have
photos on were not able to be viewed and
gave "irrecoverable error" messages stating that the dta
should be move off them but you couldn't get to the data
to move it. The writer locks up when writing and the PC
has to be shut off just to get the CD door open again.
What's up with this stuff? I need help - what is the
best software out there and is the XP writing software
conflicting with other retail software? How can you tell?

Thanks

Nero6 works very well with Windows XP, even SP2.

Version 5.3.5.10 works very well with Windows XP. Version 6 and 7 work even
better!

Your problem was that you didn't remove the incompatible version 4 before
you updated to Windows XP. Now a lot of the original registry entries are
hanging around to bite you in the as*. They are interfering with the
operation of Version 5 (which you may have installed incorrectly).

Suggest you look around here

I think Nero series of software are the best software for CD/DVD creation. The Nero 9 Lite is one of the best burning software’s of Nero series. Nero 9 Lite is a certified full-service CD/DVD burning program. This software is capable to perform number of important tasks such as analyzing discs, creating disc images and verifying written data etc.
