CD writer

Please help!
When I burn a cd looks like is doing ok, but when I try the cd is blank!
Do I need a new cd writer or (like a freind of mine said) problems with
register!
And how do I fix it!

Look at CDBurnerXP Pro (http://www.cdburnerxp.se/) it is free and burns
cds and DVDs (not dual layer ones yet).
