cd writer program

HELP......... I accidentily deleted my cd writer program.
My son reinstalled it, but it is only accessible under
his users name. Obvioulsy the program is somewhere within
my computer. Please help

I'd recommend you try the following:

1. Log in as your son
2. Uninstall the program
3. Log out
4. Log in as Administrator
5. Install the program
6. Restart your computer

All users should now automatically have access to all
programs. However, if your son is then unable to access
the CD Writer program with his user account (just as you
were unable to) try the following:

1. Log in as Administrator
2. Click on Start
3. Go to Programs
4. Right click on the CD Writer program
5. Click on Properties
6. Select the Sharing tab
7. Make sure that the "Make this folder private" box is
NOT checked
8. Click OK
9. Drag the CD Writer program from the programs list on
the Start menu into the Shared Documents folder
(C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents)

This will then allow all users access to this program.
