CD-RW Drive Mailfunctioning

my CD-RW drive has been doing things that are not normal.
the light that indiacates that a disc is in turns green
when a disc is inserted. this light is red some of the
time when no disc is inserted and the eject button doesnt
work. Sometimes the light that indicats its burning a
disc turns of for a few seconds and off agian. the red
light problem no longer seems to happen that often but it
makes funny noises when the computer starts up and the CD
tray ejects very very very fast without pushing when
starting up the computer the eject button. now sometimes
the eject button responds and sometimes it doesnt. please
help

Hello

Well I would consider that you have it replaced if your having that
many issue's with your cdrom, could be defective so replace it
