CD-RW drive is missing and will not eject.

My CD-RW drive is missing and it refuses to manually eject. How can I find it using XP and how can I get it to eject? My two hard drives, my DVD-rom, and my floppy drive work ok... only my F: drive, the CD-RW is giving my trouble. Help please?
 
might be a hardware malfunction, try to attach a different power cable to
the CDROM drive or test the drive on a different machine. it might be
possible that you need to replace it.

Remove and try reinstalling your CD Burning software.

I have the same problem sometimes... I have a TDK rw... here is what you do... add/remove hardware... let it auto search for new components... it should find the burner... hope this helps
