I've had this problem before but I thought it was fixed,
I burned some cd-r's when I was running windows 98, just
did another install to XP and for some reason the discs I
burned on 98 wont read at all on XP! anybody have this
problem? any fixes out there?

No help here unless you provide a lot more data. How did you create
the CDs? What software did you use? What drive are you trying to
read them with (CDR/W or CD-ROM)? Etc, etc?

One thought: if you used something like DirectCD and didn't finalize
the CDs, you won't be able to read them in XP until you install a
packet writing program compatible with XP. XP doesn't contain a
native UDF read capability.
