CD-ROM problem

i am trying to install my epson stylus cx3100.It has copy
print scan in one.My prob is the scanner does not install
due to a disc error. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.The
system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and
Microsoft Windows applications. I have used the
installation disc that comes with printer before and had
no problems.I had to re install windows xp from scratch
and since then some cd's will not run in my computer.I
can print and photocopy ,but i cannot get the scanner to
install.Can someone pls help??

Also can be caused by a Trojan installing a file windupdater.exe and
creating registry entries for that file.
