My CD-Rom says that it is reading CDs and CD-ROMs but it isn't. For music it shows the correct information for the artist and time and it plays it but there is no sound. There is no speaker problems. I can hear other sounds on the internet or mp3s but not anything off a disc. I have done the HP troubleshooter but it is no help. Everything is plugged in correctly but there is no sound. I also tried to make a copy of a disc by scanning it in to my computer than burning it to a new one, and it shows there are tracks on the new CD but there is no sound. I really would love some help.DO you have any ideas? My computer says that the device is working properly but it obviously is not. Thanks again
