CD Nightmare.

Hello,
After a up-grade to xp from me, I treid to install the Adaptec Easy CD
Creator4 that came with me.I receive a message every time my computer starts
that devices have been disabled.When I try to write a cd I receive the error
message"There was an error in the writing process,The disc you have attempted
to use to write may no longer be usable.
I am using new discks.
I don't know how to repair this and I am not high tech. any simple
instructions would be appreciated.

Fix is not too difficult but you may want to look at upgrading your software
or burner

Easy CD Creator 4 IS NOT compatable with Windows XP.
You need to uninstall it and upgrade to a higher version of Ez or another
product.

Creator 4 is not compatible with XP. You need 5.3 or above.

CD creator 4 is not compatible with Win. XP You will need to purchase a
newer version (6 or above, current version is 7) if you want to continue to
use CD Creator (www.roxio.com). There are also other options out there with
one popular program being Nero Burning ROM
(http://ww2.nero.com/us/index.html).
