out exactly what you have....

Do you have any idea what the drive make and model number is? If not,
run install and run Belarc Advisor and see what it says:

I have tried to do it on iTunes and Windows Media Player. I think it can
burn DVD's although I have never actually tried. But it says DVD on the
drive.
