CD/DVD drive wont open

My CD/DVD drive has a CD inside and will not read it and will not open so I
can take it out. How can I fix this? meaginn

With the computer turned off, straighten out a paperclip and poke an end
into the tiny hole on the front of the drive. Wiggle it around until it
"catches" and the drive should open.

Thank you I got it open. Now It wont close unless I make it and it seames
like it just wont work at all. Do I need a new drive or can I fix this one?
It has been acting up for a while and would not read the CD's I don't know
what to do with it. Can you give me some info thanks meaginn

You need a new drive.
