CD Drive Problem

I have a game im trying to install but it wont work because the it just keeps
reading forever. ive waited 2 hours one time. The yellow light on the cd
drive will blink a little, and i can hear the disc in the drive spinning. I
need help!
 
the obvious comment: Does drive read other cd(s)?
CAn CD game be read by another cd drive?
So is drive bad or cd?
HAs anything else happened or changed?
