Chuck

I've been trying to figure this out for a while. Can't
seem to get it right. Keep receiving "Get object
information call failed 87". I used the format described
in Microsoft KB aticle 227425, and typing "RSM /?".
Has anyone been successful in getting W2K to recognize a
CD changer that W2K would not on it's own? Nakamichi MJ-
5.16 is the changer. If I execute "RSM VIEW /TCHANGER",
RSM reurns nothing but "CHANGER", and no data. Thanks in
advance for the help.

Suggest contacting the vendor. Here is the op systems it says it
supports and Win2K isn't listed

Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows NT 3.51, Microsoft Windows NT
4.0, IBM OS/2 Warp 4.0, Microsoft Windows 3.1, IBM PC DOS 6.3, Microsoft
DOS 6.22, Microsoft DOS 6.2

I recieved an answer from Nakamichi. They say it was only
supported up to Win 2K SP1. This is why I tried to do it
the manual way. Thanks any way. FYI Win 98SE supported it
too. I had to insert the drivers via Config.sys and
Autoexec.bat. W2k doesn't support DOS.
