cd burning

when trying to burn audio cd my computer will get to a point and the shut off
could this be due to a Digital Rights Media setting and if so how can I
remedy this, I am us Windows Media Player 11
 
If your computer is shutting down then the problem could be hardware related
as this sounds like a crash.
