cd-burner not working

I can play cd's but it wont let me burn and I also don't hear the drive
spinning like befor. I keep getting error unusable cd and I have tried
several cd's I tried a test and it says device cannot be accessed possibly
medium missing.

You didn't say what software you are using, but check to
see if there is an update for whatever you are using. If
there is not one, try re-installing the burner software
(un-install then re-install). There could be corrupted
files.
