CD burn error

I tried to burn a large 3.2 gb file using windows xp.
Obviously the file was too large for the cd but now the
computer will not let me delete the file from the cd burn
folder it says the file is in use by another program or
user. I have closed all programs and only have one user
but still can't delet the file from the waiting to burn
folder. I tried move, copy delete and get same message.
Any Ideas how to get this file out of my waiting to burn
folder?
