Hmmm ?

MS must hurry up, 8-9 million downloads.

If MS don´t come up with something we will soon
have a cookie and index.dat free big strong user group
which destroying all beutiful directors presentations
and hits economy. ;)

But MS are probably trapped in something commercial
how to "kill Google" etc instead of making good programs ;)

Hi

Maybe MS join them if they thinks too much
about this Ballmer/Google ghost..........;)

Instead of making great software as in the past.

In terms of "good programs"--I think IE7 will be up to standard. Keep an
eye on it--there's good stuff to come.

Hi Bill

What I am against is all of these tries to
trap users and to force users to install extras.

Within IE7 Beta 1 if you are a "thinking user" it is
so obvious how they left out functions for
a MSN toolbar. But what I have read, more users sees this
so maybe MS can change attitude ? It is also dangerous to only
use MVPs and MS "hangarounds" for testing.

Do MS believe that a majority don´t see this ? If they do they
must have really bad user relations.

If a user wants "Candy" MS can build a MSN 10 or 11 and sell this
to "Candy" lovers with no need for any changes in settings or "where to
go today".

Of course among these hangarounds including MSN we have a lot of
business wishes to create a platform for hits and tracking cookies
economy. I can understand that but something new must be developed for
Internet business and this cannot stop IE7s development.

Hopefully a lot of users take the step to Firefox and Opera and
sees another world of browsing and this is the only way to force
MS to forget about all of these business wishes and create a
a good, safe and friendly browser.

But with todays business climate and leadership this is impossible.

So switch to Opera and/or Firefox ! Now !

I'll look at it again, in the light of your comments. I do know that I've
been able to set the search option to use Google, and that was enough for me
to feel that they were being even-handed.
