CCC Behaving Properly Now?

Just installed CCC for the first time (Cat 6.8). In Task Manager I see two
instances of CLI.EXE, together taking up ~ 8 MB of RAM. When I launch CCC,
the memory usage swells up to 30 MB. Upon exiting CCC, the memory usage
drops back to 8 MB. This doesn't seem as bad as some of the stories I heard.

I think that most of the memory when CCC is opened is due to the loading of
the .NET Framework. It's just a guess though; I haven't gotten to writing
my own apps in .NET yet.

I don't think so, actually. The biggest chunk of memory is used to store all
the 3D preview animation and videos for adjusting FSAA and AVIVO settings.

The only annoying thing now is the stupid long boot time when I leave
CLI.exe as a startup item. However, I cannot disable it in MSConfig, because
Crossfire needs to be initialized at every boot.
