Anyone know the name of the virus that is supposed to put a file that
starts cc8 into the Windows/Temporary Internet file

that doesn't really sound much like a virus... have you tried using an
anti-virus product? diagnosing computer viruses by symptoms (especially
such obscure symptoms as that) generally doesn't work...
