Cbo not allowing entry

A new cbo on an existing database is not allowing data
from the drop down menu to enter the cbo. What could be
preventing this? The Cbo is enabled and not locked.

Is the form updateable? What is the control source of the combo box?

The form is not updateable. The control source of the cbo
is the field within the main table which we are trying to
extract the info. using the cbo.

If you can't update the form, then you can't update the combo box.
