That's a scan message to get you to buy the program and might have malware

No, not at all. That feature of both IE7 and FF2 is for fake bank pages
and other fake pages that want you do fill in your personal data like
your credit card number. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and Spybot Search
and Destroy are designed to stop picking up the malware.
