Is it possible to change the x-axis numbers in a chart in excel from the 1-10
to something like 350-650
 
You can change the range of data that is used for X values (if in fact any were
assigned when the chart was created). Choose Source Data from the Chart menu.

To change the scale of the X axis (if you have an XY Scatter chart), double click
the axis, and make adjustments on the Scale tab. You can't significantly change the
scale of a category axis in a line chart.
