Hi,

Why is it that when I create a recurring appointement, if I have to move a few,
they automatically lose (those that I moved) their category, and when I try to
put the category back, I get a message to tell that I must open the serie, and
if I do so everything get screwed up, depending on which appointement I open the
serie from, then the whole scheduling reflect that appointement.

So a recuring appointement can not change at all or Outlook lose track of it

BTW I'm using 2003

Hi Martin, yes with recurring appointments you need to change or move the
entire series. If you move individual ocurrances then it does tend to mess
things up a bit. For meetings that tend to be rescheduled a lot I would
enter them individually on a month to month basis and give calendar access to
a secretary or assistant so he/she could re-arrange them when the
appointments change. Truly not the ideal way to do things, but it works.

That part of Outlook is just a piece of crap then, and the worse is that you
that to be of any use with a Palm, otherwise the Palm sees all appointment as
equal, it will not use the label
