catastrophic failure

i have got this error message catastrophic failure, i dont know hot to debbug
it or what is causing it.
When i execute the database in Microsoft access 2000 under a Windows 2000
there is no problem but when i execute the file in a Microsft access 2000 and
Windows XP i had problems, like reports displaying question marks instead of
the real information and.
Please advice
 
Does the error message say "catastrophic failure"? Never seen an Access error
message say that. Therefore I would think it a Windows error.
