Catalog

My wife is an artist, and I've been using her artwork to create cards. I
would like to create a catalogue of these cards which would include the
following information: a picture of the artwork (typically two different
cards are made from each piece of artwork). The artwork is currently stored
in .tiff files to reduce corruption; an identifier for the location or file
name of the card; where the physical card is stored; where the fold is on the
card; any inside text included as typical.

Can I do the above task in Microsoft Access? If so, how do I get the .tif
files into the database. Is the database approach the best approach for this
problem? If not, what should I be looking at to create the catalog, and allow
it to be flexible so more cards of different types may be catalogued and
added in the future.

Thank you for your help.

Access should be fine for that.

My advice is to keep the .tif files external to the database, and just store
the path.
