Cascading Rights to folders

Using AD on a 2000 server. The parent folder is
overriding all rights even when disabled at the child
level. Rights must be set at parent level to gain
access. FIX??

Inherited permissions (not rights) don't work the way
you describe.

Permission are inherited by default but if you disable
that or override it at the child then that takes precedence.

(Note that if you have an effective Deny for yourself or
any group that overrides a Grant on other groups.)

What you see in Explorer on the dialog is what you get.
