Capturing output

Hank

I want to capture some data from some web pages but they are constructed
in such a way that I cannot capture the data bu copy/paste or by saving
the web page. There is a java script that puts up a message box to
print the page and then invokes the Print dialog. When I close the
print dialog, the java code then put up another screen. Can I direct
the print dialog to print to a file and then somehow convert that file
to a text file? I have tried defining a generic text only printer set
to print to a files and print to it. The output is not a text file. Am
I doing something wrong? Is WIN XP trying to tell me what I want? Are
there any programs that can convert the printer output to a text file?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank, Vince Radice

I can print the page but I would also like to keep the data for future
reference. Is there any way I can direct the otput to a "print" file
and extract the data out of it?

Thanks,
Vince Radice
