capture scenes from a movie

how can i capture a scene from a movie that is playing in the windows media
player?
previously i had a multimedia keyboard that had a player with facility for
capturing a scene and saving it for use as wallpaper or email attachment.
unfortunately the current system doesnot have a connector to fit the
keyboard and so i am unable to use it.
my search with the keyword screen capture gives me results for making movies
capturing scenes from video cameras, how to make movies using movie maker
etc.

Get this and use the pause button and you can move the
slider.

Try this, It's a capture utility that you hit F6 to
engage, move your pointer to where you want to start,
left click and draw the rectangle to the size you wish to
capture ( from a pinhead to a full screen ) release the
key and it's saved as a .jpg to the folder of your
choice. Did I mention it's free.

hi!
but by doing so i am getting only a blank screened windows media player as
the saved image. the movie playing in the player at that time is not
captured.
help!!!
and otherwise this is an excellent looking software for screen capture and
as you said free too.
