Capture Picture of Desktop as BMP

I want to capture a picture of a program that I am using
for a bit map. I don't know if I am in the right group,
but I hope that you can help me.

How do I add a newsgroup to an email client or something
where I have easier access to the newsgroup than just
through microsoft's website.

Press 'Ctrl' and then 'Print Screen' on your keyboard.
Now you can paste the image into email, word etc.
Additionally, you can press 'Alt' and 'Print Screen' and
it will take a snapshot of your currently active window
instead of the whole screen.

As for newsgroups, use Outlook Express and click Tools at
the the top, Accounts and then click New, select
newsgroups and you should be able to figure it out from
there.
