Capture a PowerPoint Presentation on Movie Maker

If you are referring to a PowerPoint Slide Presentation,
you can convert each PowerPoint slide into a JPEG file
using the PowerPoint "save as" function. PowerPoint will
ask you whether you want to convert one slide or all
slides to JPEG. Then import each JPEG into MM2 to make a
slide show. Then you can add fades / transitions, and
background music in MM2. There are probably better ways
to do the same, but I have found the above works well.

I too have made a presentation for a tribute to my dad
and would like to capture it in Movie Maker and put it on
a DVD. I can see though that I may not get an answer
since LP before me hasn't yet and she put her comment in
on March 26th.
I have it all ready to go but need to convert it to an
AVI file and was wondering if Movie Maker would do this
and how?
