can'tr close explorer windows????

I'm running xp with I.E.6.0....starting couple weeks ago
i am now unable to close any web windows.....unable to
close by clicking on the "X".....going to "file
Close"......by right clicking on the minimized icon.....

ANY Sugestions????????

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
