Can't view/edit macros

I have some macros in Normal.dot that I can see in the list of macros (Tools
/ Macro / Macros. I'd like to see what's in them, but the Edit button is
grayed out so I can't review them.

How are macros un-editable and un-viewable? Shouldn't I be able to see the
VBA code of the macro? Is there any way that I can view them to verify that
all is OK and that I don't have unauthorized macros?

I think these may be from the Adobe PDFMaker add-in. But I can't be sure,
because I can't examine them. Some of the names are:

AcceptAllChanges
AddCommentsItem
AddOurToolbar
Auto_Close
AutoExec.Main
AutoExit.Main
ContinueINtegration
ConvertToGelatoPDF

and a bunch more.

Yes, those are Adobe macros, as can be seen by changing the "Macros in"
setting to PDFMaker.dot or PDFMakerA.dot.

In general, macros in an add-in can be edited only when the add-in (if it's
a template, a *.dot file) is opened through the File > Open dialog, and if
the macro project isn't locked by its developer.

If you're correct about these macros being in the Adobe add-in, and if it's
a recent version of Acrobat, then it isn't a .dot file but a COM add-in (a
*.dll file) and you can't even open it.

See http://www.gmayor.com/lose_that_adobe_acrobat_toolbar.htm for a
recommended course of action -- uninstall the demonic thing.
