Can't use my scrollwheel

(sorry for my poor English!)
Hello,
Why can't I use the scrollwheel of my mouse in Word 2007? Maybe it's my
hardware or maybe it's disabled by default, but (in my opinion) it's very
annoying... If it is disabled, consider enabling it by default (I guess that
many people are used to the scrollwheel). If it's my hard or software you
might want to know that I use Trust Office mouse 1.1 (I have some other,
non-scrollwheel related, problems with this mouse, so that could be the
problem)
besides of that, office 2007 rocks :-)

The scroll wheel on my mouse works OK in 2007. If there are other problems
with your mouse, I suggest that it's probably time to feed it to your cat
and get another one.

Hi Patrick,

I think it probably is your hardware, or maybe its driver. I've had no
problems with the scroll wheel in any of the beta 2007 programs.

You could try reinstalling the mouse driver, or try using the driver
that comes with Windows.

Thanks for your help! I guess it's my hardware...
I never liked this mouse, I guess I've learned never to buy cheap Trust crap
(sorry, I got a bit stressed after I've worked with it for a while)

Hi,
Your not the only one with this problem, I seem to be having the same
problem with 4 different mice now (Dell, Microsoft, Logitec, IOGear). Here's
the kicker...they all say they are 100% compatible with Vista
Ultimate(32-bit).

I have made sure they are all updated with the latest software and when that
didn't work, resulted to using Vista's recommended driver and still nothing.
A few can scroll down but not up in Explorer and as for almost every other
program it's a no go situation. I've also contacted the companies themselves
and they sware up and down there is no problems with Vista and their hardware
and software.

I use the scroll wheel for AutoCAD 2008 for zooming in on blueprints and
this literally slows my production time by 50% because I can't scroll in and
out on my screen. Does anyone know how to correct this or of a mouse that
truly works 100% on Vista so I may use my PC once again?

Sincerely,
David Whitehead
