Can't uninstall MSAS

I decided to uninstall as I generally use Mozilla which
MSAS doesn't completely work with. I used Control Panel,
Add Remove, but I still get the messages running up my
screen almost too fast to stop. I managed to click on one
of the little critters last night and it was a warning
from MSAS. This thing won't die, kind of like IE and even
Media Player. I know, I know, I deserve this for
downloading software from MS, but how do I kill this
dead? I couldn't find Registry entries.

Have you tried removing it in Safe Mode or do a System Restore?

-Actually, I did a system restore for a different reason

and haven't seen the warnings in a day or so, but for
future reference, how do I go about removing it in Safe
Mode? I don't have an entry for it as only remnants
remain? I know how to get into system restore, just not
how that would help here. I would even reinstall itif
there were a way to more reliably remove it. Thanks.
