CAN'T TURN OF CAPITAL'S AFTER CARRIAGE RETURN

G

GRAHAM BARNES

DEAR FRIENDLY WORD USERS---I KNOW YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO
TYPE TO THE END OF THE LINE!!!!! BUT I RARELY TYPE
LETTERS!! EVERYTHING I DO IS SPECIALIZED AND REQUIRES
SELF FORMATING, AND EVERY TIME I GET A CAPITAL. THIS
MESSAGE IS IN CAPITALS BECAUSE ITS HABIT! I MEAN, IN A
REGULAR PARAGRAPH WITH 8 SENTENCES, IF I CHANGE A WORD OR
TWO THAN THE BEGINNINGS OF 8 LINES ARE NO CAPITALIZED AND
HAVE TO BE HAND CHANGED. THIS IS UTTERLY MADDENING AND
RENDERING WORD USELESS AND TIME WASTING. IF THERE IS NO
FIX, PLEASE REFER ME TO WHATEVER WYWIG, WORD PERFECT ETC
WILL DO THE JOB. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE. GRAHAM

If you always type with Caps Lock on (which is considered SHOUTING in NGs
and regarded as rude), I should think Word wouldn't have much of a change to
AutoCorrect, but you can disable this correction in the Tools | AutoCorrect
dialog ("Capitalize first letter of sentences"). Or maybe that's not what
you meant. You were speaking so loudly that it was hard to hear you.
