Cant take ownership of a directory

I am trying to take ownership of a directory in my Users home directory
folders. I logged in the server as an administrator but still can take
ownership i get a message saying Access denied.

Make sure that you do in fact have admin credentials on that server and that
the effective setting in Local Security Policy for the user right to "take
ownership" of that server includes the administrators group. --- Steve
