they all say that because they don't want to be bothered.
Go to File, New outlook data store and add a new pst that is of the outlook
97-2002 file type. Set it as default for delivery and see if it works. if it
does, it's the clie software not recognizing the new pst format. (Step 7
shows where to change the default delivery, if you don't already know:

if it still doesn't work, go to control panel, mail and make a new profile -
if that fails, then I have no idea why it won't work.
