This is a resubmission.
First I am working with windows XP home edition . It has
the latest def files and has virus softwarwe running,
scans are clean, and I have xp firewall running. I
updated to msn messenger this past weekend. Now when I
try to log on I no longer get the welcome to windows.
Normaly It would open and I would get to choose between
my two user accounts. I'll call them Acct1 and Acct 2.
Now when it opens I get no choice, but get the following
small window which advises me of the following:
"This computer is in use and has been locked. Only Joe
or an account administrator can unlock this computer."
It has a slot with my name and below that a slot
for a password.
I have no password nor did I ever have a pass word.
Below that it has a selection for Ok. When I hit OK it
allows me to get on the computer, but I cannot get to my
user account, Acct 2 which has files that I can only
access by geting into that account (I have them blocked
from sharing).
I need help in getting the welcome to windows back
which allowed me to access the two accounts.
Thanks,
Joe
