Can't share files

G

Guest

I am networking two home computers -- a desktop and a laptop. I have set
them up to be part of the same workgroup. I have chosen one folder on each
of the computers to be shared.

Here's the problem. From the desktop, I can log onto the shared folder on
the laptop. I can move files from the shared folder to the desktop, but I
can't move files in the other direction. When I try to move files from the
desktop to the laptop I get the error message, "Access Denied."

How can I fix this so I can share files in both directions?

Hi,

Change permissions on the shared folder. Right now it's set for read only on
remote users, you need write permissions.
