I'm trying to set up the fax utility (from Printers and Faxes - Set up for
faxing). The installation chugs along just fine until it states "Setup
cannot copy the file fxsapi.dll." The location given is
c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386. I have checked, and this file IS in that
location. I have even tried to copy it from other sources. MIght add that
this occurs with all of the fxs... files. Also suggests inserting 'Windows
XP Professional Service Pack 1 CD" in the drive you specify. Of course, I
downloaded the SP and don't have a CD to insert!

Anyone have any ideas?

TIA, Bill

But do you have the XP disk from the original install? If so, put it in
the drive, and point the FAX installer to its i386 directory.
