can't send from multiple email accounts with Outlook 2003 sp1

I am trying to set up 2 different email accounts. The default account sends
and recieves without a problem. The second account will receive fine.
However when I reply from it, it won't send as the program requests user name
and password verification (which is correct). It still won't accept it. I
have checked the smtp info and checked with the email host (godaddy.com) and
everything is set up correctly. The problem seems to be with outlook.
Any suggestions?

Does the SMTP server require authentication? Maybe it doesn't and having
that set is causing issues.
