Can't Send Excell sheet to Mail reciptian

After i finsih preparing a list using Excell,and i want to e-mail it, so i
right click, choose send to Mail recoptian I can't it's look like something
is stopping this please what shall i do ? i used Vista and Miscrosoft Office
1997.

Microsoft Office products older than 2003 are not fully
compatible with Vista.

Use this procedure:
Save the Excel document. Close Excel. Open Windows Mail,
attach the Excel document to an email.
