You've not entered ANY of the correct settings from your email provider.
Go to your email provider's web site, look for the correct settings and
enter them in the relevant fields.

The host '(e-mail address removed)' could not be found. Please verify that you
have entered the server name correctly.

The reason you are getting that error message is because you have entered
an incorrect name for the outgoing (SMTP) mail server. However there is an
overriding issue here:
US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only, no POP access.
Windows Mail handles POP mail but not Yahoo webmail.
Yahoo's solution is to pay them for premium "Mail Plus" service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/overview/index.html
and use the special settings for that service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-14.html

If you are OK with using a non-Yahoo email address, you have these other
solutions that will work with Windows Mail:
* Use the email address assigned to you by your ISP.
* Use a free Gmail, AOL, or Hotmail/Live account.

You can also continue to use Yahoo's webmail: http://mail.yahoo.com
If you need more help with any of these solutions, just ask.

If you have mail issues, always check here before asking Dell
support. They will have you do all sorts of unnecessary things.

Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

Also, let us know which antivirus are you running. Some of them
cause problems with Windows Mail over time.

As far as I can tell from that error message, your settings are
correct. The 0x800CCC19 error means there was a time-out.
Time-outs are usually a sign of interference from an antivirus.
Trend Micro antivirus is among the top three troublemakers for Windows Mail.
First, go into its settings and disable any interaction with email, then try
Windows Mail again. If no improvement, do a trial uninstall of the antivirus.

Another option (instead of uninstalling Trend Micro) is to upgrade to
Windows Live Mail, which is more resistant to the adverse effects of
overly intrusive antivirus products: http://download.live.com/wlmail

In any case you must disable any antivirus email scanning, for the reason
explained here:

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The following is extracted from Sky.com : ---
Setting up your email program with Sky Email
You can use Sky Email by logging onto the Sky Email and Tools homepage or
using either POP3 (Post Office Protocol) or IMAP (Internet Message Access
Protocol) to download messages and view them on your computer using an email
program like Microsoft Outlook Express.
Should I use POP3 or IMAP?
If you're trying to decide between using POP3 and using IMAP, we recommend
you use IMAP with Sky Email. POP3 is prone to losing messages or downloading
the same messages multiple times, but IMAP synchronises your mail clients
and your web-based Sky Email more effectively. Actions you perform when
you're using Sky Email on the web, actions you perform on email clients and
mobile devices (for example putting mail in a 'work' folder) will instantly
and automatically appear in Sky Email (for example it will already have a
'work' label on that email). IMAP is a better way of accessing your mail
from more than one device, so if you check your email at work, on your
mobile phone and again on your computer at home, IMAP ensures that new mail
is accessible and offers a more stable, consistent experience.
Enable POP3/IMAP on your Sky Email Account
1. Log into your Sky Email account.
2. Click Mail Settings at the top of any Sky Email page.
3. Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab in the orange Mail Settings box.
4. Depending on the protocol you have decided upon, select either Enable POP
or Enable IMAP.
5. Click Save Changes.

Configure POP3 / IMAP with Outlook Express and Outlook 2002 (and older)
(Windows)

Alex, pay attention to steps #12,13,14,15,16,17.
