My message is
Subject 'retractable awning - $100 (Dover NH)', Account: 'Debra Gagne',
Server: 'outgoing.verizon.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250 SIZE
20971520', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number:

Please help!

Verizon doesn't use the SSL option, so disable that.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties,
Advanced. Uncheck the SSL option (two places).

Thank you!
I seem to be able to send emails now.
But I still can't receive any.

Try changing the incoming server from POP3.incoming.verizon.net to
incoming.verizon.net

As Frank already indicated, your incoming server should be named
incoming.verizon.net instead of pop3.incoming.verizon.net.

Thank you very much for all your help!!!
