Cant send and recieve all

OS : Windows XP
Outlook Version : XP
Mail account is Imap.
Mail certificate : (yes)

Error message : The operation failed. The object could not
be found !"

What I have tried
Removing the profile
repair install on outlook
repair scan on outlook.pst

What I have discovered.
I can use shift f9 which sends and recives on imap and
that works
I can choose send and recived imap from the drop down.
I get the error when I hit send and recive all
I get the error message when using just f9 which is send
and recive all

What can I try next to resolve this error? Do you think it
has something to do with my certificate that I get from
our mail server? I really need some help on this.

I tried creating new profiles on all the machines that
have come in. Following your link to the letter. One
student let us reghost his machine to original set up. We
created the new profile on a fresh machine the first time
it runs it works perfectly when you exit outlook and open
it again it returns the original error about object not
being found. And will not send and recieve again no matter
what ya do.

I think it has something to do with the IMAP files because
it works fine until it has sync with the server then has
the same error. I have my machine set up the same as
these students and mine works fine.

I have scanpst the imap files and they check out good.
What would be downloaded from a imap server that would
cause outlook to break every time on random users?
